At WBS Henderson, we’re more than just a team—we are a self proclaimed dysfunctional family. The kind that will argue over the best way that coffee should be drunk (Grumpy says black like his soul), but we will always have each other’s backs. Our crew is an eclectic mix of personalities, ages, backgrounds, and skills, all coming together with one shared goal: to help you get the best timber, hardware, and building supplies with a smile (and maybe a bit of friendly banter).
We’ve got knowledgeable staff who know every trick in the book, sharp-eyed problem solvers, and enthusiastic DIY support who could talk your ear off about the best screws for the job. Our musical tastes? Let’s just say the yard playlist is an ever-changing battle zone—one minute it’s classic rock, the next it’s something unrecognisable that someone insists is "a banger."
But what truly brings us together is our passion for great service. Whether you’re a seasoned builder or a weekend warrior, we’re here to offer expert advice, quality supplies, and a good yarn while you're at it.

Gareth has an 11 year background in the concrete industry, 7 years within the fastenings industry and 5 years in retail music (he gets excited when he's asked questions about any of those topics). Likes music, books, eating great food and travelling to new places. Loves Italy

Operations Manager - 2018
Starting with Warehouse Building Supplies in 2018 (very young), Zayne has had a number of roles with us and has become an important part of our business. He's our resident "Mr Fix-It" and he's who our Yard Cat ("Batman") calls Dad. Likes cars, video Games and all things Asian. Favourite destination is Japan.

Steve has a wide and varied background in senior financial roles in large offshore corporates. Steve started with Warehouse Building Supplies in 2021 before buying it (with Larissa) in 2023. His favourite destination is [quote] 'Anywhere with my wife where we can kick back and relax' [end quote]

Director - 2007
Larissa has a long career as an accountant with her own practice, doing SME business accounts for a wide variety of clients. Larissa has been with Warehouse Building Supplies since 2007 before buying it (with Steve) in 2023.
